Christian Schmitt hielt im Rahmen des Dagstuhl-Seminars 15161 auf Schloss Dagstuhl am 14. April 2015 seinen Vortrag „ExaSlang and the ExaStencils Code Generator“.
Abstract:
Many problems in computational science and engineering involve the
solution of large systems of equations. Multigrid is known to be one the
most efficient methods for this purpose.
In this talk, we will present our domain-specific language ExaSlang for
the abstract description of highly parallel geometric multigrid solvers
and its compilation framework. Furthermore, we will introduce some of
the optimizations which are applied automatically and explain our
approach to automatic parallelization.
